Where can the shoot take place?

Anywhere in Dubai that feels like you, somewhere you can settle in, relax and simply be yourselves. That might be slow moments at home, barefoot in the garden, wandering along the beach as the sun starts to soften, exploring the desert, or meeting at a favourite park or little corner of the city that already holds memories for you.

There’s no need for the location to feel grand or perfectly styled. Often, the most meaningful photographs are made in the places where life actually happens. We’ll choose somewhere that feels comfortable, personal and true to you, creating a backdrop that feels just as natural and effortless as the photographs themselves.

Hey mama, you’re up first

Start with an outfit you feel completely yourself in, then let everyone else coordinate around that.

Think soft, earthy or neutral tones, beautiful textures and pieces that move naturally, rather than bold logos, busy patterns or anything that feels too matchy-matchy. Where you can, avoid lots of black and navy, and try to keep bright white to just one person so everyone has their own little place within the frame. Layers, linen, knits, cotton, floaty dresses and subtle textures all photograph beautifully and add a little depth without distracting from the people wearing them.

More than anything, though, choose something you feel good in. Something you won’t spend the whole session adjusting or worrying about. When you feel comfortable and confident, it shows, and that will always photograph more beautifully than the “perfect” outfit ever could.

Your life is not curated. It is lived.

Let's photograph it that way.

No pressure. No stiff posing. Just your family, as you are.
